Team
We’re here because we care. Seriously. Our staff is made up of film fans and fanatics who are so excited to make Fandor great that we keep coming back every morning despite a poorly-stocked vending machine. Learn a bit about us below.
Fandor's Founders
Dan Aronson
Chairman & CEO
Dan has been at the forefront of technology since the '80s, when he began building supercomputers at Thinking Machines Corporation. He was an early employee at WAIS, the first internet search engine company, and went on to help manage AOL’s servers when AOL acquired them. He cofounded anti-spam company Brightmail and internet incubator Campsix, and has been on the boards of City Car Share and networked music player company Slim Devices.
Jonathan Marlow
Chief Content Officer
Fandor co-founder Jonathan Marlow is an accomplished curator and composer as well as an occasional cinematographer with dozens of films to his credit. In the two decades prior to his role as Chief Content Officer, Marlow was affiliated with numerous film exhibition institutions, film festivals and technology-centric film distribution companies (such as Amazon, VUDU and others). He is also known to host occasional screenings throughout the world showcasing remarkable films that are generally unavailable elsewhere.
Albert Reinhardt
VP, Product
Trained in animation at RISD, Albert’s tinkering nature led him instead to video games upon graduation. Working at Knowledge Adventure, Albert led kick-ass teams in creating award-winning CD-ROM and online games. Albert later founded HappyGoFun, Inc. and focused on design and user experience. Working with teams at Fujitsu Labs of America, he co-authored several patents for innovations in motion interface and search. Early into fatherhood, Albert returned to his filmic roots when he founded Fandor with Dan and Jonathan.

Sabrina Bruning
Client Support
Starting a career of attending movie theaters solo in high school, Sabrina Bruning likes to sit in the furthest row back – or what she likes to call the "back-back" – and just get lost for a little while until the credits roll. She keeps the Fandor phone lines lit when it's 9 p.m. and users need their account password reset, or you know, just a friendly chat.

Joseph Herrle
Associate Product Manager
A rocket scientist by training, Joseph Herrle assists the production team with analytics, SEO, email integration, and main-stage propulsion. When he's not bringing indie films to the masses, he's usually recreationally jumping off of buildings or writing short fiction, but never both at the same time. His current mood is reflective and his favorite ordered sequence is the set of all reals.

Director of Engineering
Dave Schweisguth is a veteran of several internet and, before that, biotechnology ventures. He directs Fandor's crack engineering team as little as he can get away with, preferring to spend his time replacing himself through automation and being distracted by the Fandor Channel.
